Orion nebular through bins

Really can't get over seeing the splendor of Orion's constellation with a cheap pair of £15 12x50's.

I could see the gasses in the nebular as a deep haze surrounding stars, and the colours of Betelgeuse on the edge of Orion.

I had no idea just how good a pair of bins could be, now I'm really looking forward to getting a scope and exploring with more clarity and in greater detail.

Gutted tonight as the skies are covered in cloud, roll on clear skies.

Regards Pak...:)

Oh! too true, I'm really looking forward to a scope, just don't want to jump in before I do some more research on scopes.

What time frame do we have before Orion's constellation is no longer visible for us this year?
