Celestron Nexstar 127SLT or 4SE

The dealer rang and says that they still don't have the 4SE, but would Sir be interested in the 127SLT. Had a look at the celestron website, I can't find anything to make me believe that it is worse than the 4SE...Any comments, welcome...

i would take a 4se over a 127slt, purely due to the mount, optically the 127 will be better due to the increased primary. but the SE mounts are just better.

I bought the 4SE over the 127 mainly for the mount. It shares the same mount as the 5SE so a little more stable than the 127 mount.

However, I probably should have gone for a bigger reflector - since joining up here 'scope envy' tends to kick in. Now how much was that 8SE again!!!
