Great place for a star party

Ive spent a few holidays on Sark and managed to catch the Perseid meteor shower there one year. Its an amazing place and has a good camp site with level fields and almost no light pollution. There is also another more basic camp site but Im not sure if its still open.

No cars though so you would have to get the tractor "taxi" up the bank from the harbour.

Having worked in Streetlighting it is interesting to hear of no light-pollution!

One problem. Sark also banned cars. Getting heavy gear to a star party there may require a mule

I'd be more in favour is the UK becoming a dark skies site.....
