Orion Nebula by a DSLR beginner

Hi everyone

Managed to capture my first ever DSO with my newly aquired Nikon D50 bolted to a SW Explorer 130p. After much messing around I found a 30sec exposure @ ISO1600 seemed to work best.

Can anyone recommend good stacking software for stills?

Well done on your first DSO. Great effort. Deep Sky Stacker is the one to go for. Have a look at the first DSO thread at the top of this board to compare your effort with others
