Hi all as the title say i need some advice regarding connecting my dslr to my scope . The camera is a canon 1000d and the scope is a celestron c80ed with the gso single speed crayford focuser fitted , the attachment i'm looking at getting is the dslrmax at flo ( would a t ring and t adapter be better ? ) but i'm unsure if i will need anything else like extension tubes to reach focus so if anyone has this equipment or knowledge of it i'd be most grateful for some advice thanks .

Regards Alan

The DSLR max fitting is probably a better choice. Clearer aperture.

The T2 ring and T thread also work pretty well.

Remove the diagonal and replace it with a 50mm extension piece..this should allow the DSLR to reach prime focus.

You'll need a remote control for the camera either via the USB to a computer or a TC-80 type hand controller....

That should get you started.
