Hi all, just to follow on from the talk of the tele-extender etc. If you wish to add magnification to get in closer to planets and the moon do you need to be able to have an eyepiece in postion in front of the camera?

Am i right in thinking that a tele-extender allows you to do this? like this one...

Just getting a bit confused by this as its all a bit new to me

Are there any problems/difficulties when doing this? I assume the camera will be held pretty far away from the scope body. Wouldnt different length EPs be different distances from the camera?

I have a canon 350D and my dad has a celestron nexstar 130 (i think) :D

Cheers for any help!
