A few shots grabbed before the clouds rolled in

Set up the 8" F6 and Toucam to image the moon tonight.

Gusty wind and cloud cut the session short sadly.

Anyway, I like this phase of the moon because on the terminator, you can see

the lunar floor rise up the crater walls quite clearly.

Also, a lot of little craters are brightly lit like beacons out at sea.

fantastic exposure and good clarity considering the wind.

Love them. A nice change from all the terminator shots we're getting (not that they're not fantastic too, it's jsut nice to have a change, as I said).
