New Scope - "Planet-Hunter"

Hi all,

This is just to announce the arrival of my new scope: an Astro-Professional 80mm f11.25 achro with TMB optic and crayford focuser. Basically a reissue or clone of the original Burgess Planet-Hunter but with the same original TMB achro objective.

Bought it from Lguise on here and it's an absolute beauty! Classic looks and a tangible feel of quality.

Better pics will follow once I can combine daylight, time off and decent lighting all at the same time! For the meantime though...

Beautiful classic looking scope. I seriously thought about buying one earlier in the year when they were still being sold. Look forward to seeing your first light report.
