NickRose2006
I'm using my dads Telescope that he bought sometime in the late 80's or early 90's. Its a Celestron SP-C6 on a Vixen Super Polaris mount.
John
Lovely setup there Nick - thanks for posting the pics !.I've not seen one of those for ages - looks in great nick as well The focuser arrangement was rather unique on those I seem to recall - the whole eyepiece drawtube slides up and down the scope on a plate - the secondary support and secondary with it - a pretty novel design. Polar Bear
Hi Nickif you can trace your roots back to Warwickshire UK around 1750 - 1800 we may be ! Its a long shot but most Rose's can trace their origin back to the Norman Conquest of Britain in 1066 courtesy of three Knights with the name 'Ros' who came across here from France. Keep up the good work with the camera, its also a passion of mine.Paul
NickRose2006
One funny thing is that my dad has a brother named Paul. As far as my dad knows, his family goes back to Germany.
