I do all my processing in PI and normally mask off the stars before I start altering saturation/curves etc, this seems to avoid odd coloured stars.

Tim, yes the little megrez is most certainly earning it's keep.

Mike, the Ha subs were 10 mins each, SII 20 mins and OIII 10 mins. There is quite a strong OIII signal here, but not much in SII at all.

I take it that this is why you went for SII subs that are twice as long. The image looks great, though. Good detail and strong signal/low noise.

Considering some "hubble pallette" imaging through the WO 72 myself, so glad to see you're getting very encouraging results. Nice one!

Yep, the megrez is a brilliant little scope in my opinion.

SII was almost invisible - feels odd spending hours shooting something you can't really see.
