pentax xf 6.5-19.5 zoom. Any good??

Hi everyone. I just bought a Pentax 6.5-19.5 zoom in new condition. Havent had chance to try it yet. Just wondered if anyone has one or knows how they perform. I paid £100 for it, and am going to use it on my new CPC 800.

Any info would be appreciated.

£100.00 is a great buy as they're now about £250.00 new.

I replaced a Hyperion zoom with the Pentax as I was looking for something better, and while it has a narrower FOV it is sharper and more contrasty. Real Pentax quality. It even works well in fast scopes.

Hi,thanks for the reply. I bought the CPC 800 today and the eyepiece seemed a good buy. The guy bought both the scope and the pentax zoom in June so both have had little use. I think he has only used the scope two or three times.So I cant wait to try them both out. Just hope the weather clears up.

£100? Good grief, that's a total steal! The eyepiece is pure Pentax quality, only with different focal lengths all available for you to try. Lovely eyepiece.
