PST Nosepiece adaptors

Dave,

Yes, ideally the donor OTA needs a 2" focuser for these nosepieces...however...I recently modded a 90mm Meade "starter" scope and found the drawtube was near as d*&m 2" i/d so the adaptor just slipped in after the 1.25" eyepiece adaptor was removed.

Also, you really don't need a focuser between the OTA and the etalon.

The etalon just needs to be positioned 200mm inside prime focus, so its sometimes easier to remove the focuser from the OTA and replace it with a end disk, which has a 2" aperture - that way you don't have to cut the donor OTA to get the magic 200mm spacing.
