canon...help!!!!!!!!

canon 1000d arrived today:headbang:

charged the battery,put battery in camera NO POWER:eek:

just a blue blinking light:icon_scratch:

charged battery for another two hours, put it back into camera:eek:

no power. Anybody got ideas, I'm thinking it could be a fualty battery.

I cannot find any solutions on google, found people with similar problems. I would send it back and get it replaced or money back.

just spoke to the seller,she will send another battery, if that dont work, she will replace with new camera............oh well.
