Imaging Source Cameras

Hi Guys - Tecchy advice required please.

i am ready to purchase a camera from the Imaging Source.

What are the advantages for the DMK41s over the DMK21s? Having read the web site the CCD is bigger but is than necessarily a good thing?

I have a 150mm Mak Cas with a 3GB Dual Core Processor Laptop. Would the DMK 41 be too much for this set up? I've seen the excellent results from you Guys on this forum.

any advice would be warmly received.

I've been using the DMK21 firewire version for the last couple of years for solar imaging and recently got a DMK41 firewire to "compliment" it.

Larger chip, smaller pixel size....

It won't give me the same max frame rate, but that's not the issue with solar ha.

It also works very well with the spectroscope!
