PST80 shots 25-09-10

Hi all

A couple of shots using the PST etalon on an 80mm Vixen scope.

First AR 1109, taken at 11.05 UT and second AR 1108 taken at 11.09 UT. Seeing was okay, but deteriorating as the clouds came over. I have attched the monochrome images; "colour" versions can be seen here:

Gorgeous shots Nick. Especially AR1108... the 3D effect is remarkable! The umbra looks sunken in comparison to the surrounding region. The effect is more dramatic in the monochrome frame. Nice one!
