Strange cloud close to Jupiter last night between 1am and 3am

Just looking online for something that could explain this. All i found were images of asteroids breaking up and an article written from around the time you saw saying that people all around the world witnessed strange object near Jupiter. The article was a dead link though.

Personally i think it is a flying insect that was going across your FOV and that its wings were being lit (refecting light) by some external source and your camera picked this up.

well that sound plausible...the insect thing! but i suppose we may never know.

It kind of looks like something that known as "rods". Some people think they are alien lifeforms but experts have dismissed them as insects in flight being captured on cameras. Google some images and you will see what i mean.

The last time I saw Jupiter was last week. Since then I have been submerged under cloud cover. Nothing weird about them though,.. They are low, gray and promise snow!
