My first DS Image

I was at a telescope meeting/star party up at Vallum Farm in Northumberland during last weeks clear(ish) spell.

All happy days, the seeing wasn't fantastic, but it was good to get out and about again.

I managed to borrow my friends DSI & laptop, and we had a go at M51. As it's my first attempt at a DSO I was really pleased with the result. It's a stack of 10 x 2min exposures, using my Celestron.

Looking through some of the forum members DS images I know, it's not the best pic in the world, but hey ho - it's a pic I done, and it's given me the confidence to do a lot more. Just looking forward to getting my SPC880/900NC modded now.
