AR1100 from 11th September

Somewhat belatedly, here's my latest white light image of the Sun. This is AR1100 on the limb of the Sun.

This is the best 270 frames from a 1800 frame capture taken at Kelling Heath star party.

It was stacked in Avistack, then sharpened in Registax, before a whole heap of mucking about with further sharpening, contrast enhancement and colourzing in Photoshop.

That's a cracking white light image there! What is the #56 filter?

The #56 filter is a bog standard mid-green planetary filter, bought for £5.

Nice capture in white light! Are you using a Baader filter or a ND for the white light? The green planetary filter really increases the visibility of the features... I am quite impressed with the difference.
