Final stab at M31

I wasnt really happy with my previous efforts on M31 (always blew the core), so a couple of days ago I started from scratch with some good 600s subs. Its much higher in the sky now, so the background seemed much darker on the RAW subs

Very nice give the Hasta La Vista Green plugin a go.. medium setting... i find it very useful for getting the colour balance right...

Love the balance between the detail around the core and the outer dust lanes

Thanks peter, shame I cant use that plugin (just seen what it can do) beacuse I dont have PS. I'll get the plugin for now, then see what I can do about getting PS installed at the weekend.
