M82 from Kelling

my first M82 from my first starparty at Kelling,

one 15 second shot in mono, i have more but can`t combine them in deepsky stacker yet as i don`t know what i`m doing properly.

Nice one Rob, can see the dark lanes cutting through it, this is a very similar view I had visually with the dob. can't wait for the stacked image to be posted.

That's a cracker for a 15 second sub Rob there's loads of detail in the gas/dust area.

realised i made another mistake here i think as i was using my f10 sct i should have put on my 6.3 focal reducer !

i`ll get it right one day if it kills me !

so many little bits i forget what i`ve got.

still not bad considering,

also thanks to Philj for the load of his power pack which without i`d be looking through other peoples scopes all night, and Glider for his help and setting up the mount properly when i`d almost given up,

That's quite a capture for 15 seconds. It's big, and it's bright.

The reducer might allow you to get both objects in the field though,

should you prefer that.

stacked images but with hot pixels,

not much better than the first single image, AHHHH

i`ll keep trying !

why does it stack the object but the hot pixels go everywhere causing lines ?
