M1 from Kelling

This was done while waiting for Orion to rise and was more of a test than anything else.

A single 5 minute sub of each in Ha, OIII and SII. No flats or darks

Imaging Scope: OO 12" f/4 Newtonian

Imaging Camera: SXVF-H9 + SXFW + Baader Ha, OIII, SII

Guiding: SX Lodestar on SX OAG

Mount: EQ6

Acquisition, guiding, initial processing in MaximDL. Post processing in CS4

How much data in such a short space of time??!! I think I mapped R=Ha, G=OIII and B=SII so it looks kinda funcky! This I can get from home, so will add a heap more data to this later in the year...

Thats a lot of data for 5 minutes, I think this could turn into something rather special over the winter!
