It also depends on the scope of course. I never compared my TMB Paragon to a Panoptic on my scope, but given the F/10 speed, the differences may be small. A more strenuous test is an F/5. Differences between Panoptic, Paragon and LVW may be larger in that case.

Actually, if that were the case, the cheap Huygens lookalikes (generally plastic) would work as well. In my experience, they don't, not even on slow scopes.

Yes, I reckon they should start a line of budget plossls known as Sir Patricks Eyes or some such:p

Have found the bottom of a Coke bottle works well at F16:D
