uranus i think......hope

hi all, had a go at imaging what i hope is uranus, took 8 30 sec subs at iso 800 and stacked them in dss. wasn't sure this would work with planets. it looks like there is a few moons

taken with eos 450 on s/w 300 newt with x2 barlow

Colour certainly looks like Uranus, complete with satellites - what a cracking image. Well done. Beautifully captured - checkout calsky on the web - will name satellites for you. Also can check your date and time of image and compare with calsky`s simulation for the same time as your photograph. A really nice image.

Lovely image. Using REDSHIFT 4, the satellites from top to bottom are; Oberon, Titania, Ariel. You should be able to spot them visually too. I saw Oberon 2 nights ago and Triton (Neptune) last night, both for the first time ever, I was really chuffed.

Wow. That's a really cracking shot. You've also captured a fourth satellite, Umbriel, close to the limb in the uppermost diffraction spike.
