First ever view of ISS

Have quite an enjoyable day yesterday. Saw a really bright satellite at around 5pm ish - maybe a little after. I wondered what it was - maybe the ISS, but forgot to look it up.

I was then sitting on the sofa looking at the fireworks with my little boy, and he said what's that Dad?, pointing to another very bright satellite.

I happened to have the laptop up and running on the floor next to me. So I checked with Heavens-above and it was the ISS. So having never seen it before - I've now seen it twice in one day.

According to Heavens-above it's going to be visible twice tonight and then twice again tomorrow night.

Might try and get it on film (or more correctly memory card) if the clouds hold out and I can get home form work quickly enough.
