Thanks Martin, all set up and one minute beforehand a cloud bank rolled over - the rest of the sky was clear!

lol had exaclty same thing here rob, all setup and 3 minutes before jupiter "vanished" lol rest of the sky was clear as a bell!

Hi! Not entirely sure why, but I've done a map showing roughly where you'd need to be to see it actually transit Jupiter

I've placed the points exactly, but this does rely on the accuracy of Stellarium and the satellites plugin.

edit:btw, the transit time according to Stellarium is more like 1:37am
