Hi All

Clear sky last night, I hope you all had your scopes out? Attached is a 27x 2 minutes wide field stack of Cygnus between the Cocoon Nebula and NGC7000, images 02,03 and 04 are crops from the full frame 01 shot. It was taken from my light polluted back garden with an eos clip filter behind an 85 mm lens on an unmodded Canon 550D @ 1600 iso mounted on an Astrotrac.

I'm very pleased with how this set up is working, it's very quick to mount up and align, worth every penny.

Cheers Mel

Yep lovely images... this is what the astrotrac does best..

You obviously stopped the lens down because you can see the defraction from the aperture blades on the bigger stars..

I miss my astrotrac :D

Nice images ... just love the 1st one :)

Cheers

Guy
