Celestron Ultima or Meade 140 ???

Which of these two barlows is the better ???

Mainly for Planetery imaging but i will need to use it visually.

I know from experience that the Celestron Ultima is the SGL favourite and it is a top quality compact barlow.

After saying that, I use the Meade #140 and am very pleased with it.

One day, I shall do a comparison.

Either will serve you well.

I don't agree. IMO the Ultima is the better choice. The Meade 140 adds more glow around planets.

Still a bit better : Televue 2x barlow....

IMO without spending a lot more money you can't beat the Ultima.

Celestron Ultima is great, I have not used the meade but I would gues there would be little in it.
