Counting Subs

The other night I was running my first imaging session - I'd decided on 10x3min subs BUT being "of very little brain" how to count them?

I recalled my younger days of getting "volunteered" to umpire a cricket match. I was given a white coat with six coins in one pocket, moved one at a time to the other pocket to count the balls in each over.

Anyway I used ten coins and put them on the observatory table, one each time I opened the shutter. It worked well. Not seen this mentioned before - thought it might help.

Hi there,

Get one of these and it'll do the counting for you! You just set the number of frames, exposure, etc. and away go go. (This isn't exactly the same model as mine, but shows the principle)
