low elevation of the Moon is not helping, tried to catch quick mosaic before it went behind the trees

Very nice! But I think it could be better still ... try being a little less aggressive with the wavelets, and reduce the exposure a bit next time you shoot - there are some areas near the limb which are "bleached out". You might find that increasing the gamma during capture helps get a better balance between capturing the faint detail near the terminator and not bleaching out the bright areas near the limb.

will give it a try with gamma next time, hard to keep control of exposure and gain when time is a factor. After 3 minutes completing the mosaic, the moon hid behind the trees out of my scope reach
