ED80 on top of the EQ6, i love this mount and esp the tripod its just perfect for Refractors short and long , and you can get an extention geez id need a staircase fitted :shock:

EQ6 Tripod Gordon, its much longer then the HEQ5 one i was used too which makes it perfect for the refractors 8)

My CG5 tripod (which i think is the same as the HEQ5 one) was as tall as your EQ6 one. Nearly as tall as me when fully extended hehe

Gordon, i had the CG5 Mount n Tripod and your right it is about the same height as the EQ6 one, HEQ5 however is rather small i found but there maybe two versions out there?

Still have your TS Frac Mark? it's fantasic to use with this Mount luxury after the HEQ5 or EQ5 Mount.

The idea is to get the all singing all dancing EQ6 with goto and a 10" shywatcher reflector a set of rings for the 5 inch and maybe a shed to keep it all in.

Well thats if my injury claim pays up
