Baader LVI Smartguider 2

Baader Planetarium have announced their new Baader LVI Smartguider 2 with an MGA Controlbox that controls a variety of Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Sony DSLR cameras. The new controlbox also operates the FeatherTouch MSM-motor focuser and Baader Steeltrack focusers equipped with Baader-Steeldrive (more of that later).

The UK price has not been set, we'll update this thread as soon as we know.

First delivery is expected mid June, we will make one available for an SGL review at the earliest opportunity

These autoguiders are like buses you wait ages and then a load come along together....

The camera control is a nice feature... be interesting to see what functionality it has in terms of controling sequences of images , - exposure time , intervals etc...
