2" eyepieces for Skyliner 254mm

Hi,

I have just got the Skyliner dob 2nd hand. I see that the specifications online say it has a dual fit focusser. I have a 2" eyepiece but it does not fit, do I need an adapter?

Yes, you need the Skywatcher 2" adapter. We've had a few of these threads running. I think people just throw these adapters away and then sell the scope without 2" capability. Sadly you can't just buy these adapters from a retailer, i don't know of one that sells them. Maybe better to contact Optical Vision direct and order one.

There are some pics in it of the item you need - the 2" adapter, which is specific to the Skywatcher focusser.

Hi Alan, I got the correct S.W. 2" Adaptor, 2nd hand, from Scopes'n'Skies (for a fiver I think) One came with my scope, but I needed another to adapt for a specific purpose. Hope they have one if you havn't found one already, Ed.
