Colour Balance M13

Having now got a filter wheel and doing some colour data

What colour is M13

mine I did the other night has come out yellow

I have seen almost all colours of the rainbow on the net

has anybody done a G2 star colour balance and imaged M13

I do plan to do a G2 colour balance next moonless night

Has anybody done this recently and can recomend a likey satr and do you do it focused or slightly out of focus

I'de do as you have done and compare colours from the net, then go with what seems to be the general consencus and then tweak to what pleases you.

G2 colour balancing is wayyyyy over my balding head, hopefully someone else can help you with that one :)

but can I find them

I did then G2 star bit but haven't had the the time to sort out the ratios and apply them

The greeny-yellow syndrome does affect some objects, I reckon. Andromeda is a stinker for coming out a green monochchrome. What I generally do is play with the curves in Red and Blue. I usually end up lifting the top part of the red and dropping the bottom part - then I put the opposite curve onto blue - lifting the bottom and dropping the top. Gently does it.

I always feel green is a rum colour in imaging and holds the balance of power.
