Feeble M44 & Mars

Gave this a go a few nights past , stupidly I had left the focus mask on the scope ( kicked myself silly ! ). anyway hae 'edited' out the diffraction spikes on mars and thought I'd post it up.

Only 6 lights , no darks , bias or flats ( tut tut )

Why remove the spikes...?

Thats a nice shot, you've got some nice star colours in M44, personally I'd soften it a little - but either way it's a nice shot.
