I found this a really hard object to get, it's a lot fainter than I thought - this is 4hrs 20mins in 10 min subs @ ISO800. I think I need to get a CCD for Galaxies.......

Anyway, here we go, one faint sunflower!

it looks pretty good to me as it's quite a faint difficult target as you say. What DSLR did you use? I'm hoping to give this a try on the next clear night, but don't think I'll manage the 4hr 20min you have.

yep, that's noticeably cleaner than the first.

Excellent detail.

I would go for somewhere between the two for noise reduction, too smooth starts to look false IMO.
