Ngc 4631 is the long spindle galaxy. Ngc 4627 is the small round alliptical on the side of Ngc 4631.

Very nice sketch, thanks for sharing. I had a good view of this galaxy from Kelling. It's nice and high isn't it. I think the Americans refer to this as the 'Whale galaxy'
