The Rosette Nebula

Skies here in the N/W USA (Washington State) have been hazy for weeks with the many forest fires. Although none are close to my city, it's not been the best conditions for imaging. So, once again I've had to pull one of last winter's images out to play with.... Sorry.

This was my first go at this nebula. I hope to do better in a few months when it comes along again. Best I can recall, this was taken with the 80mm WO refractor and Canon XT.

Good shot at this one Doug , nice colour there as well , its a pretty good one to get this as it processes ok , well thats what i found , i cant get that yet , but good go at it mate , just a bit more depth to bring out some more detail and you will have a great image
