Don't laugh, I'm really proud of this lol, I did it with my camcorder screwed onto baader hyperion 8mm. Took the video and ran it (fumbled more like) registax. I just cant get the hang of that registax, don't suppose anyone's up for putting a tutorial on for registax 5 are they as it's so different than the one that's up for registax 2 and they aren't much alike. Anyway, here it is :-

That's about as clear as I was getting with the barlowed 5mm Hyperion (406x), although the image was much brighter, hence being unable to see any detail. I'll have to get some filters...........

Try the fine tuning rings in the hyperion, i find they work better than a barlow on mine. The above was just straight hyperion 8mm, no rings added and the camcorder screwed on the end.

Do they screw in here the 1.25" adapter goes?

Yes, you unscrew the 1.25, then screw on either ring or both, then screw the 1.25 back on

I even got a moon, just visible up and slightly left of the rings. Just need to be able to get a slightly better focus on the camcorder and be able to work registax a bit better.

It is indeed, just checked on stellarium for time i took it.
