The moon didn't appear for me until much later so I decided to webcam it a bit. I stuck some of the processed images together to see what the difference is between montaged webcam shots and DSLR shots. It turns out that the webcam gets quite a good result for much less effort than the DSLR and the file sizes required are smaller as the frame sizes for stacking are so much smaller.

Quite pleased with this, I need to fill in the rest though to get a whole moon in.

120mm Frac. with SC3 webcam at prime focus. Each panel 3 minutes at 5fps registaxed then aligned in PS CS2

A couple more nights imaging, add crater names in PS and you could sell it as a Moon Map!
