Help needed for mag lens!

The usual (and good !) advice is to wait until you get the scope and try it out a few times before getting additional accessories for it. That said the plossls you link to are fine for their cost and will be better quality than the eyepieces that come with the scope.

An alternative, for a but more money, would be one of the TS Planetary HR eyepieces sold by Modern Astronomy:

Eyepieces @ Modern Astronomy

They are probably the best you can get without spending big bucks !.

The scope you are getting will come with a 10mm and 25mm eyepiece. As stated above they are standard EP's for the SW range and not fantastic (but they are pretty good all the same). If you want to increase your magnification and selection of EP's.......you could always invest in a 2x Barlow lens. This will give you a 5mm,10mm,12.5mm and 25mm collection of EP's. The Barlow increases magnification of any EP by a factor of 2.

I can personally recommend the TAL 2X Barlow. Its less then £40 and works really well.

It's alwaysd good to invest in good eyepieces. When you are really interested in this hobby, you'll evolve to other telescopes.

I already had several telescopes and the good eyepieces always stayed.
