Solar Activity 01 Apr

Skies finally cleared this afternoon following the severe storm earlier in the week (no snow here & by some miracle the power just about stayed on!!! but it was a close thing)

There are just two medium sized spots in white light; the southern part of the Sun has numerous filaments, giving it a "bruised" appearance, but main feature of the day is without a doubt the huge flattened arch prominence on the north east limb.
