Bloated Craters Help Please

been noticing a few of my recent moon avi's and some pics

have been flicking from normal to bloated (raised) craters

just wondering what causes this ?

focus ? or conditions maybe been very windy recently

some avi's are ok but when stacking sometimes same thing happens ?

any help advice appreciated thx James

It isn't the photo's it's your eyes! We all get this optical illusion from time to time - darned annoying when it happens too!! Its really bad when you observe the Moon only to find its gone lumpy on you!!!!!!!

Yup, it is a weird thing and happens to me at the EP occasionally, too.

Your brain will occasionally turn a crater into a hill. You may think you are unique, but it happens to most observers at some time or other..
