It was lovely wasn't it? My view had the moon rotated by about 110 degrees CW to your image, which makes me wonder if you have rotated it (the image, not the moon!).

Nice shot, how do you set up your camera and telescope? I'm a newbie and would love to get into Lunar photography through a telescope (awaiting arrival). To see what your are getting from your NV4 has got me excited.

hi steve, here is my set up.

the digital camera is held to the scope via a digimount. all my pics are then afocal.

hi yeti monster, the image when seen on the camera, via the scope, was at an other orientation, while the camera is on the scope i turn the camera to try to match the view as seen by the eye. also the image has been mirrored to get the final pic the right way around.
