M3 from DMK21

It's fun to catch DS in a "planetary" cam. At full gain it needs 200-400 frames to get an image that won't be grainy after photoshopping.

The only proble I have is bad aligned mount (caused by guerilla style M3 lookup - unlock ra/dec and looking through 25mm eyepiece move slowly the ota from arcturus to the expected location of M3 ;)) I need a GoTo :]

Have you tried using the camera on Planetary Nebula's - I think you will be pleased with the results. :)

Chris

I have to find one from my balcony (E-S FOV). M57 should be visible at about ~3:00 at night ;) I played with M42 getting the trapezium in RGB and it did work nicely. And I'm planning to get some DS camera soon (something extra good like DSI III Pro or Atik 314L+/16HR etc, or something else - cheaper :))
