Mars sketch using GIMP

Attached is a sketch that I made of Mars last night. I have redrawn it using GIMP - just to see if this gives a better representation of what I saw in the eyepiece. The seeing was not so good and it took a good half an hour to get enough "good" moments to complete a pencil sketch of what were very elusive markings.

I reckon it's not too bad ( ) as a first attempt in the sense that it does represent "what I saw" better than I can get with coloured pencils.
