Power Supply

Has anyone used a computer power supply in their obs??? I was looking at a few earlier, most seem to have 2x 12V 16A rails and a 5V 20A rail And fan cooled too!! surley this would be bigenough to power mount, cameras, etc?

Any thoughts?

I modified a Computer PSU for a Model Plane use. I used it to power my charger for LIPO cells etc.

It is a very easy MOD to do see this link

Converting a PC Power Supply

All these supplies are regulated as a PC is usually garbage without good tight rails.

All these PSU's are regulated, over current/short circuit protected and at about £45 ish seem like a good deal to me.
