Ongoing quest to see how much you can get in narrowband on some familiar objects. First night on Messier 81, have got the H-A and OIII data, the latter surprisingly quite bright, given the 10 minute subs.. but here's just the H-A

15 x 10 minutes at F7.5 (ED80 still at the mo...)

Atik 314L/EQ6/PHD Guided/DSI-C

Hoping to finish the OIII and SII tomorrow, and see what happens..

In some ways it's a pity the TMB wasn't there already ... as at least for me this has been the best conditions since last christmas... Very stable skies...

Still commissioning the obs...and ironing out the little quirks, and it's costing us in flights etc...not a free lunch.

yes, very interesting project, never think of doing galaxies in NB, except for a little Ha. It would be most interesting to add the oiii in to the blue channel if it is strong enough.

TJ...it's looking okay.. i was also surprised with the M82 shot in NB..

I updated the HA (processing at 2am...not good), so that's better..

OIII and SII on hold tonight so far (clouded out), but here's the updated H-A
