Here's the actual fov from my image taken on the night of 7-26-06. It was taken with the Canon XT (un-modded) and a 105mm canon lens. This nebula really is a Big one..........

Hey Steve,

I figured about 3X too...Yep, that what I got on my images...I did take about 1 1/2 hrs. of exposures...So, at ISO 800 and 1600 the camera pulled in a lot of photons...I guess I'm glad the camera hasn't been modded... :D We really would have seen some red.!.....althought I wouldn't have imaged as long. I'm hoping to get a nice prime focus lens (approx. 150mm-200mm) for more detailed, wide field shots..soon.
