Binoculars mirror mount

Fancied one of these to save my neck from strain whilst panning the

milky way with my binoculars.

Another of my ugly MDF constructions based on a design I saw on

the net...

Mine uses an 8"*3" front surface mirror that I got from Surplus Shed a

while back for a couple of pounds or so.

The mirror is double sided taped to the rotating platform and even though

the mirror is a tad small, it works well and long viewing sessions are very

comfortable.

Just needs a coat of paint

Nice one phil! Does the whole thing rotate in az or just the mirror mount?

In use, the mount sits on a "lazy susan" bearing that I rescued

from the skip. Nice az movement is that
