My Latest : NGC 7380 - The Wizard

Thought would go for something other than the norm and pick a less imaged nebula.

So here is NGC 7380 The Wizard Nebula comprised of 8 and 15min subs at ISO 800 for 6.5 hours worth.

Taken with Baader Modded EOS 1000D and clip LP filter on the Skywatcher ED120 Evostar Pro Diamond.

Guided with ED80 / QHY5 / PHD.

Taken on nights of 21st / 22nd Decemeber 2009

I can remember when you first joined this forum, asking loads of questions , It was not that long ago and you were a complete beginner, now you are up there with the big boys turning out some fantastic work.

Martin, your right, really needed 15min subs to get the detail on the DSLR 1000D. The difference between the 5 and 8 min subs and the 15 min subs is about twice the detail including the other nebula detail totally missing in the 5min subs.
