My Latest : NGC 7380 - The Wizard

Thought would go for something other than the norm and pick a less imaged nebula.

So here is NGC 7380 The Wizard Nebula comprised of 8 and 15min subs at ISO 800 for 6.5 hours worth.

Taken with Baader Modded EOS 1000D and clip LP filter on the Skywatcher ED120 Evostar Pro Diamond.

Guided with ED80 / QHY5 / PHD.

Taken on nights of 21st / 22nd Decemeber 2009

This is almost the full picture with only minor cropping.

I can remember when you first joined this forum, asking loads of questions :D, It was not that long ago and you were a complete beginner, now you are up there with the big boys turning out some fantastic work.

Cheers Mick, seems like only yesterday eh :D Still wet behind the eyes tho with loads to learn.

Martin, your right, really needed 15min subs to get the detail on the DSLR 1000D. The difference between the 5 and 8 min subs and the 15 min subs is about twice the detail including the other nebula detail totally missing in the 5min subs.
